Family rite for Ward HUNT
Ward Lamson HUNT, 77, Route 1, died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 1989, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The body was cremated. A family graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may sign the register at Behner Funeral Home Tuesday and Wednesday. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association.
HUNT was born Jan. 17, 1912, in Fairfield, the son of Ralph Day and Nellie BALL HUNT. He married Lenelle LISCO in Oakland, Calif. A graduate of Parsons College, he had worked in manufacturing for 36 years, first at Dexter Company, then at Farfield Aluminum Castings Company, retiring as vice president of FALCO.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Charles C. of Fairfield, Leonard of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Martha COIL of Ankeny, Marily LOTTER of Chifley, Australia; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Tom of Fairfield and William of San Diego, Calif.
A memorial also has been established to the Fairfield Public Library.
