Walter L. SHAW, 76, of Sauk City, Wis., died March 27, 1990, following a brief illness.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. May 5 in Evergreen Cemetery at Fairfield. Raymond Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

SHAW was born Aug. 18, 1913, in Fairfield. He is survived by a daughter, Wendy CARLSON and a grandson of Sauk City; a former spouse, Audrey CLAYTON STEINHARDT of Shawano, Wis.; a sister, Leona NELSON of Chicago; three nieces and a nephew, including Heather AUSMAN of Fairfield, Peggy HICKENBOTTOM of Batavia and David SHAW of Richland. Betty SHAW of Fairfield is a sister-in-law.
