M. HARRIS Dies At 92

Margaret A. HARRIS, 92, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday at her home, 503 North C.

A native of Fairfield, she was born and died in the same house, and was employed in Fairfield retail stores for well over 50 years before her retirement.

She was employed at the J. C. Thorne Store and later at the Fair Store where she was clerk and buyer in her department at both stores. Still later she was a clerk at the Spurgeon Store.

Margaret A. HARRIS was born June 30, 1884, in Fairfield, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth JONES HARRIS.

She is survived only by a niece, Kathryn BROWN, who has cared for her aunt for the past several years. Miss HARRIS is the last of a family of nine children, one son and eight daughters.

Grave services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff officiating. Arrangements are in charge of the Weston Behner Funeral Home.
