SNAKENBERG, Connie Joan -- Connie Joan SNAKENBERG, age 67 of 1396 Ironwood Ave., Packwood died at her home Tuesday morning, July 27, 2010.

She was born September 29, 1942 in Fairfield, the daughter of Loren Edward and Neva Adaline MICHAEL WOOLUMS.

Connie grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1960.

She married Keneth D. "Don" SNAKENBERG on June 26, 1960 at the First Christian Church in Fairfield. Connie lived all of her married life in the Packwood community and worked at the Farmers Savings Bank, later Pilot Grove Savings Bank in Packwood for 31 years, as a vice-president and head cashier before her retirement.

Deceased family members include her parents, an infant son Allen Loren SNAKENBERG, 1 brother Larry WOOLUMS and her sister Sandra L. WOOLUMS.

Surviving are her husband Don, 1 daughter Debbie (Perry) SCHENKELBERG of Firestone, Colorado, 1 son Randy (Laurie) SNAKENBERG of Center Point, Iowa; 6 grandchildren: Brandi VORHIES and Bryce VORHIES, Lexi, Jacob, Maci and Lucas SNAKENBERG and 2 step-grandchildren Brianna and Kayla SCHENKELBERG.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with Pastor Frosty Van Voorst officiating.

Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials have been established for Hospice or to the Relay for Life.

Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
