C. MONTGOMERY Dies Suddenly

Charles F. MONTGOMERY, 70, Culver City, Calif., died suddenly Saturday night, while attending district Lions dinner in the Los Angeles area.

A native of Fairfield, MONTGOMERY was a brother of Lydia MONTGOMERY, 605 N. Third St. Funeral arrangements are pending in Culver City. Interment will be held later in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

MONTGOMERY operated a wholesale gasoline and oil business in Santa Monica. He was president of the West Hollywoood Lions Club, and office he had held twice previously.

MONTGOMERY was born in Fairfield in 1908 (sic. Jan. 24, 1908), the son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. MONTGOMERY. A graduate of Fairfield High School and Parsons College, he had been a resident of California since 1929.

MONTGOMERY is survived by his wife, Susan, and two sons, James S. and Clifford L. Also surviving are two sisters, Miss MONTGOMERY and Mary STEPHENSON, Ventura, Calif.

Note: Burial was in Lot Old.P.221.
