Services for E. GIBERSON

Funeral services for Ervin GIBERSON, 81, resident at the Fairfield Hotel, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery. A memorial has been established.

GIBERSON died at 11:15 p.m. Friday at the Van Buren Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua following a lengthy illness.

Ervin GIBERSON was born Nov. 22, 1901, in Jefferson County. He was the son of Lafayette and Ila TURNAM GIBERSON. He was a retired farmer and well driller, and served as greenskeeper at the Walton Club for a number of years.

His marriage to Mary JERRELL took place Aug. 11, 1927 in Kahoka, Mo. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Elmer FLEAGLE, Burlington; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glenn, Birmingham, and Lloyd, Stockport; and a sister, Bonnie LEEPER, Plymouth.

GIBERSON spent his entire life in Jefferson and Van Buren Counties.
