DEATH OF P. A. McREYNOLDS.

Peter A. McREYNOLDS, one of the most highly esteemed and best known residents of Jefferson County, died at his home in Polk Township Sunday from illness attendant upon old age. He was born in Allen County, Ky., Nov. 16, 1814, and came to this county in the fall of 1845. He was married twice. His first wife was Mrs. (Miss) C. PRINCE, and seven children were born to them -- three daughters, Mary Lucilla and Ellen, all now dead, and four sons, John, Hall, Frank and George, who survive their father. After the death of his first wife, he remarried Mrs. Mary McCOY, who is left to mourn his loss..... Remains were interred in the Forest (sic) Cemetery.

[Ed. note: Mary McCOY's maiden name was ROBINSON - she is buried at Abingdon Cemetery.]
