Betty Jane BRANAM

Betty Jane BRANAM, 77, of 500 E. Lowe St., died at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 2005, at her home.

The funeral is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. BRANAM was born March 2, 1928, in Clay County, Ind., the daughter of Walter L. and Mary J. BURKE BRAND. She married Donald Leslie BRANAM Aug. 2, 1946, in Paris, Ill. He died Aug. 28, 1978.

Mrs. BRANAM lived more than 36 years in the Fairfield community. She also lived in Paris, Ill. She was a bookkeeper at Flamingo Lanes for 36 years.

Mrs. BRANAM was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Michael "Mick" BRANAM, and David BRANAM and wife Cynthia, all of Fairfield; and one brother, Jerry BRAND of Pittsburgh, Penn.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Merrill BRAND.
