BOWERMASTER, Raymond L. -- Raymond L. BOWERMASTER, 60, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at home.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Frosty Van Voorst officiating. The body has been cremated. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

Visitation, with family, will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials and cards to the Raymond L. BOWERMASTER family may be sent to 120 Buckeye St., Hedrick 52563.

Mr. BOWERMASTER was born June 17, 1949, in Keosauqua, the son of Robert and Maxine LINN BOWERMASTER. He married Cindy CHAMBERS July 7, 1971, in Fairfield.

Mr. BOWERMASTER lived in the Martinsburg area for the last 20 years. He was a dispatcher at Perfect Answer for the last two years.

He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. BOWERMASTER was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Christopher BOWERMASTER and wife Kim of Bowling Green, Mo., and Scott BOWERMASTER and wife Dana of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; five siblings, Bertie WILLIAMS of Fairfield, Lori VAN BLARICOME of Lockridge, Nick BOWERMASTER of Mount Zion, Bill BOWERMASTER of Kansas City, Mo., and Lance BOWERMASTER of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
