SHIRK Funeral 2:30 Tomorrow

Well Known Fairfield Woman Passed Away Saturday Evening

Funderal services for Mrs. Fannie SHIRK, 72, who passed away at her home, 408 North Main street, at 6:45 o'clock Saturday evening, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Murray Funeral Home. Dr. U.S. Smith of the First Methodist church will officiate.

Mrs. SHIRK is survived by a brother, Frank W. MOYER, and a sister, Mrs. Laura M. LIGHT, both of Fairfield.

*Transcribed for genealogy purposes; I have no relation to the person(s) mentioned.

Note: Buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Plot: Old.P.212

Note: Daughter of Rolandus Mitchell MOYER and Elizabeth E. MOYER.

Married Washington Daniel SHIRK on June 11, 1882 at the home of her father. For what it is worth, evidently Fannie/Fanny filed a divorce petition in November 1929. It isn't clear if the divorce was finalized, but the couple are buried separately in their respective parent's plots at Evergreen Cemetery.

The couple had no children.
