KOEBKE, James -- James F. KOEBKE, 66, of 404 S. Fourth St., formerly of Ottumwa, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Robert Elgin officiating.
Visitation began at 2 p.m. today at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa.
He was born Jan. 7, 1943 in Ottumwa the son of Robert and Viola WADDLE KOEBKE.
A graduate of Bloomfield High School in 1961, he had served in the Iowa Army National Guard. He had worked at John Morrell & Co., and drove a school bus and taxicabs in Ottumwa and Des Moines for 20 years.
Survivors include one son, Jeffrey KOEBKE of Ottumwa; two daughters, Julie KLOPP of Garfield, Minn. and Kristi KOEBKE of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Alice HEADLEY of Ottumwa; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles KOEBKE.
