BAGBY services on Thursday

Services for Lawrence J. BAGBY will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen E. Higdon officiating. Burial to be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Behner Funeral Home. BAGBY, 77, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday at the Jefferson County Hospital.

He was born January 21, 1907 in rural Jefferson County, the son of James and Mary WARNING BAGBY. He married Inez I. KELLER February 29, 1928. He lived 77 years in Jefferson County and was a self-employed carpenter before his retirement.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Max L. BLOOMQUIST of Birmingham; one daughter, Beverly JOHNSTON of Milford, Kan.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four brothers, Vern BAGBY of Birmingham; Tom BAGBY of Fairfield, Chester BAGBY of Stockport; one sister, Zella KELLER of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Arrangements are pending at the Behner Funeral Home.

TO ALL PERSONS IN TERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF LAWRENCE J. BAGBY, DECEASED, WHO DIED ON OR ABOUT JULY 9, 1984:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 25TH DAY OF JULY, 1984, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF LAWRENCE J. BAGBY, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 5TH DAY OF APRIL, 1984, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THERE WILL BE NO PRESENT ADMINISTRATION OF THE ESTATE.
