WESTFALL, Madge -- Madge WESTFALL, 108, of Des Moines, died at 5:42 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at Scottish Rite Park in Des Moines.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Robert Culbertson officiating.
Memorials to Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children may be mailed to J. Culbertson, 1227 Cummings Parkway, Des Moines 50311.
Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home.
Mrs. WESTFALL was born April 10, 1901, in Jefferson County, the daughter of George and Alta GOODSON CRAFF. She married Claude WESTFALL. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. WESTFALL lived in Fairfield and Oskaloosa and for many years in Des Moines, where she had been a salesperson in ladies' stores. She entered Scottish Rite Park in 1974 as one of the original residents.
Mrs. WESTFALL attended Plymouth Congregational Church. She was a member of Daughters of the Nile and other civic groups.
Survivors include cousins and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and special friend, Raymond HOOKER.
