PEEBLER, Sue Ann DROZ -- Sue Ann DROZ PEEBLER, 54, of Fairfield, died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Dave Elmore officiating. Cremation will follow the service, with burial of cremains at a later date at Brethren Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family and sent to 810 W. Kirkwood Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. PEEBLER was born Sept. 25, 1954, in Fairfield, the daughter of Willard "Jack" and Aletha WAGGONER DROZ. She married Douglas E. PEEBLER June 6, 1971, in Fairfield.

Mrs. PEEBLER was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County. She was a homemaker and had worked for Cyrstal Forest for 10 years.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also loved horses.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dennis PEEBLER and wife Melanie of Fairfield and Douglas PEEBLER Jr. of Fairfield; two grandchildren; and five sisters, Gloria DROZ of Milkwaukie, Ore., Marie GRIFFIN of Fairifeld, Linda ENGLISH of Mount Pleasant, Kathy GARRISON of Fairfield and Patty Jo INGLE of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert DROZ.
