HECKETHORN, Patricia E. -- Patricia E. HECKETHORN, 77, of Fairfield, died Monday, May 4, 2009, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating. Interment will be in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.
Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spencer Cemetery. Cards and memorials may be sent to 2093 Spruce Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. HECKETHORN was born Sept. 8, 1931, in Fairfield, the daughter of Charles "Fred" and Ethel BELLAMY WEAVER. She married Vern HECKETHORN Sept. 8, 1946. He died May 29, 1992.
Mrs. HECKETHORN was employed at Universal Producing and drove a neighborhood ice cream truck.
She was a member of Eables Club No. 1927 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, both in Fairfield.
Mrs. HECKETHORN enjoyed crocheting, making crafts, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include six chldren, Judith TROXEL and husband Michael of Fairfield, Joseph HECKETHORN of Stockport, Mitzi VESTAL of Centerville, Gloria GLASS of Aurora, Ill., Robert HECKETHORN of Fairfield, and Cindy HOOTMAN of Mascoutah, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Richard WEAVER, Janet GARNER of Decatur, Ill., Roxanna McDOLE of Washington, Iowa, and Deanna COOKSEY of Fairfield.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Kenneth WEAVER, Robert WEAVER, Myrna WHITAKER and Virginia ESSARY; and two great-grandchildren.
