Obit. Irl WOOLUMS, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed WOOLUMS, born near Packwood Feb. 20, 1890, died at his home Apr. 9, 1938. Married Luella THOMAS Sept. 3, 1914. No children, but they have a foster son, Hal Laverne. Irl spent his entire life in Black Hawk township. Member of the Christian Church of Packwood. Member Masonic Lodge #104 of Abingdon. His father, Ed WOOLUMS, preceded him in death on April 31 (sic), 1915. Survived by wife Luella and Hal Laverne; his mother, Mrs. Anna WOOLUMS, one brother Don.

Burial in Packwood Cemetery. (Death Record shows his father was H. E. WOOLUMS born Ohio; mother - Anna DUKE, born Iowa.)

Note: Luella remarried to Glen LITTLE and died in 1991; she is also buried in Packwood Cemetery.
