Leverett Knowles WALLACE, 87, well known Packwood resident, died at Jefferson County Hospital this morning. Born Aug. 7, 1856, Tiffin, Ohio, one of 12 children of Mr. and Mrs. John WALLACE. He came to Iowa 50 years ago and lived north of Packwood, moving to Packwood 34 years ago. President of Packwood Bank for 32 years. Surviving are his wife and three children, Mrs. Loren WHITE, Fairfield; Mrs. C. A. WOOLUMS and J. E. WALLACE, both of Packwood, five grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren; three brothers and three sisters: W. T. WALLACE, B. C. WALLACE, Mrs. Laura BLACK, Mrs. Minnie BLACK and Mrs. May STEVENS, all of Washburn, Ill., and Frank WALLACE of Randall, Kansas. Hoskins Funeral Home.
