Funeral services for James B. (Benjamin) VESTAL, 79, will be held Sunday at Campbell Funeral Home in Batavia. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Died at Kirk Nursing Home in Agency Thursday. Born in Unionville, Mo., March 17, 1880, son of John and Minerva McFARLAND VESTAL. Married Effie HILL Dec. 22, 1900, who survives. Lived in Packwood community the past 28 years, where he engaged in farming and carpentering. Member Baptist Church. Besides wife is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ronald RAMSEY, Packwood; 3 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren; a brother, Joseph VESTAL, Unionville, Mo. Preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, one sister and a granddaughter.
