Obit. Margaret Anna CORBIN, born Woodford Co., Ill., July 18, 1861. Married William A. STEPHENS Jan. 22, 1880, who preceded her in death in July, 1927. To this union eight children, six still living: George W. of Mansfield, Ohio; William E. of Chicago; Archibald and Nelson of Ottumwa; and Leslie I. of Davenport. Two daughters preceded her in death, Effie, born Sept. 21, 1882, and died Sept. 24, 1911, and Susan Lavannah, born May 26, 1894, and died Sept. 26, 1915. Mrs. STEPHENS lived in Woodford County, Ill., until 1893, when with her husband moved to a farm two miles west of Packwood where they lived until 1917 when they moved to Packwood. Died at Jefferson County Hospital Sat., Feb. 23. Member M.E. Church. Buried in family lot, Packwood Cemetery. All the children except William were present.
