PACKWOOD. Wm. STEELE died Oct. 17; burial at Packwood. Masonic rites. Born Indian Reserve, Indiana, in 1850. When a child his parents moved to Illinois and in 1864 came to Iowa. Apr. 7, 1870, he married Mary A. HUDDLESTON. To this union five boys and two girls were born: Mrs. James LINDER of Linby; Rolla STEELE of Wagner, S.D.; Mrs. Ella BEAN, Tyndall, S.D.; Lu STEELE of Farson, and John, Otto and Frank live on farms west of here. Member Baptist Church. (Death Record shows his father was Ira C. STEELE, born Ohio; his mother was Margret HILLIGOSS. See Prill Books Vol. 3 for parents.)
