PACKWOOD. Mrs. Carl MITCHELL, 47, died Wed. at Jefferson County Hospital. Raymond Funeral Home. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Mary Jo MITCHELL was born March 3, 1921, at McAllister, Okla., daughter of Lonnie and Claudia BUTLER PIERCE. She was reared and educated in Tulsa. Aug. 8, 1945, married Carl MITCHELL who survives. The marriage took place at Parsons, Kansas. Longtime member of VFW Auxiliary, and Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary. Survived by husband, one daughter Mrs. Bettie DOWNEY, Hedrick; three grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Marjorie LIVELY, Tulsa, Okla. Preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.
