PACKWOOD. Mrs. A. G. MITCHELL, well known resident of the Packwood community, died Mon. at Jefferson County Hospital. Raymond Funeral Home. Burial at Packwood. Elizabeth Ann MITCHELL, 83, born Aug. 17, 1884, near Abingdon, Va., daughter of John P. and Amanda HAGY MINNICK; she was reared and educated in the Abingdon community. On Jan. 6, 1909, married A. G. MITCHELL at Abingdon. The same year they moved to the Martinsburg community in Iowa, and to the Packwood community in 1923. Member Packwood Methodist Church.... Survived by husband, one daughter, Mrs. Raymond BROWN, Keokuk; three sons: Carl and Willis MITCHELL, both of Packwood; and Roy MITCHELL, Fairfield; 14 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Vint CRENSHAW, Abingdon, Va.; and a brother Conley MINNICK, also of Abingdon. She was preceded in death by one sister, five brothers, and two greatgrandchildren.
