A former resident of Jefferson County died last night of injuries received in a tractor accident on his farm near Luray, Mo. Harold M. LUCAS, 45, left Jefferson County just 18 months ago after spending entire life in Batavia, Brookville and Packwood communities. Burial in Packwood Cemetery. Born Dec. 20, 1915, at Farson, Iowa, son of Merrill and Zella MILLER LUCAS. Married Mable BOGGS at Nashua; she survives, also one daughter, Vickie Ann, 4, and one stepson, Marvin L. BLACK, Batavia. Also survived by his mother, Mrs. Zella LUCAS, who made her home with him; two brothers, Harold of Pleasant Plain, and Ray E. LUCAS of Fairfield. Preceded in death by his father.
