Obit. Thomas Milton LINDER, son of Abram and Elizabeth VANCE LINDER, was born in Washington Co., Va... In 1882 the family moved to Jefferson County, Iowa, following the death of the father on Apr. 18, 1881. Family located near Abingdon, Iowa, then moved to a farm adjoining his present farm ½ mile west of Linby where he as resided for the past 41 years.... The beginning of the little town which bears part of his name. Survived by three brothers and one sister, William V. LINDER of Fairfield, James A. of Batavia, Charles H. and Miss Nannie.... Also one brother-in-law, John DUNN of Abingdon, Va., and also many nephews and nieces both here and in Virginia.... Preceded in death by his mother and two sisters, Mrs. Martha DUNN and Mrs. Alice THOMPSON in Virginia.... Packwood Cemetery, laid by the side of his mother.
