PACKWOOD. Mrs. H. A. JOHNSON died Thurs. Feb. 3, from pneumonia. Her maiden name was Emma R. MATTHEWS, born in Henry Co. Mar. 28, 1860. She was one of ten children, and one brother and three sisters survive her. June 20, 1883, she became the wife of H. A. JOHNSON; six children, two died in infancy. Those remaining are Stacy Edwin of Los Angeles, Calif.; James Madison, Packwood; Benj. Harrison and Floyd Alfred of Fairview, Ill. The JOHNSONs came here from Henry County 18 years ago. Member M.E. Church. Funeral Sunday at M.E. Church. The casket with its precious burden was consigned to the tomb in Packwood Cemetery.
