HEDRICK, Ia. -- Charles Walter HINTZ, 64, Hedrick, died today at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Sigourney. A retired John Deere Co. worker, he lived in the Packwood and Ollie communities before moving to Hedrick 20 years ago. Services will be held Thurs. at 1:30 p.m. at the Hedrick Christian Church. The body is at the Fremont Funeral Chapel. HINTZ was born April 8, 1899, at Packwood, son of Charles and Nellie BENN HINTZ. Married Leora McEWEN May 5, 1935. Wife survives, and one son, Leland HINTZ, at home. One sister preceded him in death. Member Hedrick Christian Church.
