Mrs. GRAFTON died Aug. 23 at the home of her daughter at Platte City, Mo. Born in Highland County, Ohio, in 1834. Her parents Mr. and Mrs. Thos. MOORMAN came to Iowa when this daughter was 9. She married P. B. GRAFTON Dec. 19, 1855; he died in 1907. She was a pioneer of this county, having lived in this vicinity 76 years. She and her husband were parents of three sons and one daughter, Rev. T. W. GRAFTON of Indianapolis, Ind.; A. W. GRAFTON of Des Moines, and Dr. C. W. GRAFTON of Litchfield, Ill. The daughter Myrtle is the wife of Rev. C. C. DAVIS of Platte City, Mo. One brother, Wm. MOORMAN of Fairfield, and a sister Mrs. Martha SEARLES of Ottumwa survive. Packwood Cemetery.
