PACKWOOD. Claude D. COX, 82, well known Packwood resident, died Monday at Jefferson County Hospital. Member of IOOF Jefferson No. 4 for almost 50 years. Born March 26, 1884, at Waldron, Ark., son of Jefferson and Virdia SHIRY COX; married Cora WELLS June 10, 1913; she died Apr. 18, 1961. The farm home was located 3 miles s.w. of Packwood. He had lived in that community for the past 51 years. Surviving are a number of cousins. He was preceded by his wife and three brothers.
