PACKWOOD. James Carl CLINE, 81, a lifetime farm resident of the Packwood-Abingdon area, died Saturday at Jefferson County Hospital where he had been a patient for two years.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Packwood Christian Church in charge of the Rev. William C. Kanne. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery. The body is at the Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia.

CLINE was born March 8, 1886, near Abingdon, son of William and Cynthia Jane LONGERBONE CLINE. He was married to Euma NELSON Aug. 28, 1912, at Linby.

Surviving are his widow and one brother, Bertie CLINE, Ottumwa. He was preceded in death by one son, six sisters and five brothers.

CLINE was a member of the Christian Church of Miami, Florida.
