PACKWOOD, IA. L. Glen BRADFIELD, 73, well known resident of the Packwood community and a former member of the Jefferson County ASCS Committee, died very suddenly about 2:30 p.m. Thurs. Nov. 4, while working on a farm near Packwood. Heart attack. Abingdon Lodge No. 104, AF & AM will hold graveside rites. Fremont Funeral Chapel. Born Dec. 30, 1891, at Abingdon in Jefferson County, son of Steven and Irene HOLLER BRADFIELD; married Luna HAINES on Dec. 31, 1912, near Ollie. Lived in the Packwood community all of his life; member Packwood Methodist Church. Retired farmer; had served several years as a member of the Jefferson County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service.... Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ardith DUNSTON, RR 1, Hedrick; two grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by one gr-gr-child and two brothers.
