BOOK, Clarence -- Clarence BOOK, 75, died 10:30 p.m. Wed. at his home in Linby. Gould Funeral Home in Richland. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery. Born Feb. 2, 1898, in Illinois, and with his family moved to Fulton, Mo, when still quite young. The family moved to Iowa in 1911. Married to Lucy Frances CLINGMAN, Packwood, April 15, 1919, and they have lived on their present farm for the past 28 years. Survived by wife, five daughters and one son: Mrs. Thelma HADLEY, Ollie; Mrs. Ina SASSEEN, Packwood; Mrs. Audrey HILL, Hedrick; Mrs. Helen TARRENCE, Olds; Mrs. LaVon TUTTLE, Medford, Ore.; and Kay BOOK, Packwood; 21 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren, and two brothers, Asa BOOK, Lake Placid, Fla., and Harlan BOOK, Wichita, Kan. Preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one daughter in infancy. (From Death Record, his parents were Harry BOOK and Florence WISNEY.)
