PACKWOOD, Ia. Word has been received here of the death of Dr. and Mrs. Robert K. BENN, St. Joseph, Mo., who both died yesterday in a hospital at Marshall, Mo., from injuries received in an auto accident.... Dr. BENN, a retired veterinarian, spent his early life in the Packwood community and practiced at Little Rock, Ark., for some time before going to St. Joseph. Relatives from this area called to Marshall by the death of Dr. BENN and his wife include Keith BALDWIN and Coleman BRAGG.....

DR. ROBERT K. BENN. Packwood.... Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.... Burial will be in the Packwood cemetery next to his first wife. His second wife, the former Frances WARREN, was also killed in the accident Monday morning. Last rites for her will be Thursday at Webster Grove, Mo. Robert K. BENN, 71, born Sept. 25, 1892, at Packwood, son of Charles W. and Minnie SWAIN BENN. Reared and educated in Packwood and continued his education at Kansas City. Veterinarian and practiced in Packwood for several years before joining the government service as a meat inspector. He was retired at the time of his death and made his home at St. Joseph, Mo. Married Inez Grace TAYLOR who died Jan. 30, 1960. He was later married to Frances WARREN. Member Methodist Church, Masons, and the Consistory; Veteran of WW1. Leaves one stepdaughter, Mrs. Russell HELLENSMITH, North Royalton, Ohio; along with several cousins residing in the Packwood community.
