Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, May 30, 2008 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, IA with Rev. Mike Renken officiating.
The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to be made to Birmingham Lion's Club or Hospice of Washington County. Cards and memorials may be sent c/o: 910 E. Adams Street, Apt. 3A, Washington, IA 52353.

Sharon Kay LOVE was born November 19, 1937 in Fairfield, IA to Aaron and Shirley (SMITH) HUISMAN. She graduated from Birmingham High School and was united in marriage with Laverne D. LOVE in Fairfield on September 18, 1955.
Sharon was a farm wife and first employed at Universal Producing Company in Fairfield. She was also a cook at Highland Community Schools, and after moving to Washington, worked at a calendar factory from which she later retired.
Sharon was a great daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, and the best friend and wife to her husband. She was a hard worker, and always concerned about the well-being of others. Her friends and family always came first. She truly loved everybody and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Laverne LOVE, of Washington, IA, and her children and their families: Jay LOVE of Arizona, Dean LOVE and wife Nancy of Riverside, IA, Crystal LOVE and John KINNEY of Oxford, IA, Douglas LOVE and wife Phyllis of Crawfordsville, IA, and daughter-in-law June LOVE of Washington, IA. Sharon was blessed with nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Survivors include a sister, Barbara UNKRICH and husband Carroll of Birmingham, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Jay NORRIS.
