CHAPMAN, Carol Ann -- Carol Ann CHAPMAN, 73, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fairfield, with the Rev. Suzanne Swahn officiating. Interment will follow in Dibble Cemetery.
Family visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church in Fairfield. Cards and memorials may be sent to 12344 Geneva Street, Indianola 50125.

Mrs. CHAPMAN was born Dec. 16, 1934, in Keosauqua, the daughter of Ira and Lola G. CLARK PRATT. She married Donald D. CHAPMAN May 14, 1955, in Fairfield. He died Aug. 30, 2006.
Mrs. CHAPMAN graduated as salutatorian from Stockport High School in 1952. She was a wife, mother and homemaker.
Mrs. CHAPMAN was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Fairfield, where she held many church offices, including deacon, treasurer, financial secretary and membership chairman. She was a member of Christian Women's Fellowship and received the Honored Servant Award from her church.
Survivors include two children, Jeff CHAPMAN and wife Carmen of Indianola and Janet CHAPMAN of Newton; two stepgrandchildren, Landen and Ashley BUCHMAN; and one brother, Robert PRATT of DeWitt.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Fred PRATT; and one sister, Jeanette CAMMORATA.
