Lee E. DAVISON Taken In Death

Death came Thursday afternoon to Lee E. DAVISON, well known retired Dexter employe and resident of Fairfield for over 30 years. He passed away at 2 p.m. at the Jefferson county hospital after suffering a stroke.

He had been in failing health for several years and seriously ill the past 24 hours.

Last rites will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with the Rev. Donald A. Eagle in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Lee E. DAVISON, 77, was born Sept. 27, 1881, at Brighton, Iowa, the son of the late Francis and Sarah CUSTER DAVISON. He was united in marriage to Neetia STONE on Dec. 21, 1910, at Wayland.

Besides his wife, DAVISON is survived by one son, Ralph DAVISON, Des Moines; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mattie KESSEL, Brighton; and a brother, Tom DAVISON, Brighton.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Notice is hereby given, that the undersigned has been duly appointed and qualified as Executrix of the estate of L. E. DAVISON, deceased, late of Jefferson County. All persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment and those having claims against the same will present them within legal time duly authenticated, to the undersigned, for allowance and file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court.
