ROBINSON, Frieda -- Frieda ROBINSON, 93, formerly of Keosauqua, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, in Arvada, Colo.

Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

ROBINSON, Frieda M. -- Frieda M. ROBINSON, 93, of Arvada, Colo., formerly of Keosauqua, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at home.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Keosauqua Christian Church, with the Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Cantril.

Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, where family will be present from 7-8 p.m.

Memorials to Keosauqua Christian Church or Maple Grove Cemetery may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 2870 W. 116th Place, No. 105, Westminster, CO 80234.

Mrs. ROBINSON was born Jan. 5, 1914, in rural Scotland County, Mo., the daughter of John and Elsie BARNETT STOTT. She married Vern E. ROBINSON April 6, 1933, in Memphis, Mo. He died Oct. 21, 1991.

Mrs. ROBINSON graduated from Cantril High School. She lived most of her life in Cantril and Keosauqua until moving to Colorado to be near her children in 2004. She worked many years as a cook at Van Buren Community School in Keosauqua.

She was a member of Keosauqua Christian Church, where she held numerous offices, taught Sunday school and belonged to Christian Women's Fellowship, for more than 70 years. She was a 50-year member and past matron of the former Order of Eastern Star Lynds Chapter No. 27 of Keosauqua and a recent member of Twin City Chapter No. 258 in Douds.

Survivors include two sons, James ROBINSON and wife Sharon of Arvada and Jerry ROBINSON of Broomfield, Colo.; two daughters, Donna FLEMING and husband Wilbur of Arvada and Judy BURKE and husband Larry of Westminster, Colo; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Irene FERGUSON of Memphis, Mo.; and one brother, Paul STOTT of Reseda, Calif.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Laurence STOTT;
