WATERHOUSE, Robert A., Jr. -- Robert A. WATERHOUSE Jr., 66, of Washington, Iowa, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Church of God in Brighton, with the Rev. Kevin Dice officiating. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery in rural Washington County.
Visitation began at noon today at Jones-Eden Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6-8 p.m.
A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society for prostate cancer research or to Hospice of Washington County.

Mr. WATERHOUSE was born March 15, 1941, the son of Robert and Olletha ZICKEFOOSE WATERHOUSE. He married Connie HESSELTINE Aug. 27, 1961, at Pleasant Hill Christian Church south of Washington.
Mr. WATERHOUSE attended elementary school in rural Washington County country schools and graduated from West Chester High School in 1959. He had owned and operated the Bob WATERHOUSE Earth Moving & Tiling business since 1959. He also had farmed south of Dublin, Iowa, since 1966 and drove over-the-road truck for four years.
Mr. WATERHOUSE enjoyed spending time with family, barbecuing and slow cooking meat for family gatherings, reading, studying the Bible, completing metal fabrication in his shop and searching for ways to improve items. He also enjoyed tending to his farm, observing nature, traveling and listening to country gospel music.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Daniel WATERHOUSE and wife Barbara of Washington, Iowa; three daughters, Lisa McGAHAN and husband Don of LaGrange, Ind., Machele FRANCKOWIAK and husband James of Grace Hill and Rebecca BUTLER and husband Tedd of Grand Rapids, Mich.; 23 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother of Grace Hill; one brother, James WATERHOUSE of Keota; and one sister, Joy MILLER of Keota.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Jason; one brother, David; and two grandchildren.
