MRS. E. B. HEATON DIED IN INDIANOLA: RITES THERE ON TUESDAY.
Mrs. Edward B. Heaton, a native of Round Prairie township, and a resident there for many years, died in Indianola Saturday. Funeral services at Indianola Tuesday - burial at Knowlton where her husband was buried. B.C. Heaton, 103 S. Main St., a son, attended the funeral. Mrs. Heaton was 86 years old. She was a daughter of Thomas Howell, who came to Jefferson County in 1836 from Virginia. She married Mr. Heaton in 1878 and the couple moved to a farm near Knowlton where they lived until they went to Indianola a number of years ago to make their home. Mrs. Charles Trimble of Indianola is a daughter.
