MRS. McLERAN DIES.
Mrs. Charles (Katherine Heer) McLeran, 86, died at the Memorial Hospital Sunday evening. She was born in Glasgow, October 3, 1876, the daughter of Fredrick and Louise (Kristler) Heer. On Oct. 3, 1900, she was married at Glasgow to Charles Elmer McLeran, who preceded her in death in May of 1940.
Surviving are four children; Mrs. Fred (Helen) Colby of Lincoln, Harold McLeran of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Ruhnke of Eldora, and Charles Thorton McLeran of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, six brothers and three sisters predeceased her. Mrs. McLeran was a member of the First Methodist church.
Services were held at the Weir-Cookes Funeral Home at 3 P.M. Tuesday, July 2. Dr. Alvin T. Maberry will officiate. Interment was in Forest Home Cemetery.
