DEATH OF WILLIAM WRIGHT - Mar. 7, 1905. Born in Ohio Mar. 26, 1828 and moved from there with his father's family to Illinois in 1839. In 1841 came to Van Buren County, Iowa, and located on a farm. While there he learned the blacksmith trade and worked in the shop at Winchester until in 1849 he located in Glasgow. Was united in marriage to Isabel Cochran Mar. 28, 1850, and lived here continuously until he reached the end of a long and active life. Eight children; six survive - Sheriff John Wright, Fairfield; James L., Memphis, Mo., Mrs. Eleanor Hall of Berryton, Kansas; Frank R. of Glasgow, Iowa; Mrs. Milton Weaver, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; Van of Mesa, Arizona. George C. died Mar. 24, 1874, and Samuel T. died Nov. 15, 1882.
