DEATH OF JOHN HUSTON.
John Huston, one of the oldest and best known residents of Round Prairie township, died at Glasgow Wednesday. He was in the eighty-first year of his age, and had long been in feeble health. Mr. Huston was born in Washington County, N.Y., and grew to mature years there. He was married in Ohio, his wife dying in this county in 1896. He removed to Iowa in 1852, locating in Tama County, and two years later came to Round Prairie township, where he has since resided. Four children survive the parents - W.E. Huston of this city; Charles E. and Mrs. Theodore Britton of Turtle Lake, N.D. and Orrin Huston who is in California . . . . During all his life in Jefferson County he enjoyed the confidence and trust of his neighbors and was honored by them with many positions of importance in public affairs . . . . Mr. Huston died at the Glasgow Hotel, the building in which he spent his first night in Jefferson County nearly fifty years ago. The remains were interred at Glasgow Thursday.
