Mildred J. DALLNER

Mildred J. DALLNER, 87, of Nelson Nursing Home, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 1994, at the nursing home, where she had lived since June 1986.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Open visitation will begin at noon Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to charity of donor's choice.

Mrs. DALLNER was born Jan. 17, 1906, near Salina, the daughter of John Henry and Charlotte EDMUND SANDELL. A lifetime resident of Jefferson County, she graduated from Fairfield High School in 1923, and from Parsons College. She taught in several country schools and in Fairfield and Brighton. She married Rex Olin DALLNER on Aug. 10, 1937, in Grand Forks, N.D. He died Nov. 9, 1986. They lived in the Richwood community until moving to Fairfield in 1969. She was a member of the Dorcas Society of Salina Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Jalmer, Paul, Emil, Charles, Terry, William, and two sisters, Ebba LIBLIN and Edith SANDELL.
