Barry Joel CZAP

Barry Joel CZAP, 63, a resident of Veterans Administration Center in Knoxville, died at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at the center (note: in Marion Co., IA).

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Cecil officiating. Burial, with military rites, will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established.

Mr. CZAP was born Nov. 6, 1939, in Akron, Mich., the son of Albert and Katherine Elizabeth CERMACK CZAP.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and nature.

He served in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy WATSEY and husband Brad of Fairfield; three sons, Barry CZAP and wife Tracy of San Jose, Calif., Richard CZAP and wife Lisa of Vandenburg Air Force Base, Germany, and Steven CZAP and wife Cheryl of Milpitas, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and one brother, Neil CZAP of Melrose, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
