An Old Editor Gone.--- With pain we record the death of Richard HATTON, Esq., one of the editors of the Mt. Pleasant "Journal." Mr. HATTON, in connection with his son Frank, has been connected with the "Journal" for several years, and they have made it one of the best papers in the State. His experiences as an editor dates back about 30 years, beginning at Cadiz, Ohio. He had been on a visit to friends, and on arrival at the Mt. Pleasant depot, November 5th stricken with apoplexy, from which he never recovered. Mr. HATTON was aged 60 years. His remains were taken to Ohio for interment. He was a christain [sic] gentleman, and gained the respect and esteem of all with whom he became acquainted.
