Timothy Edward NEVIUS, 46, of Springfield, Mo., died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, due to a mishap at work.

A funeral service was held Oct. 17 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield.

Mr. NEVIUS was born Nov. 16, 1959, in Crossville, Tenn., the son of Manuel and Mary NEVIUS.

Mr. NEVIUS lived in Iowa for five years during his childhood while his parents were pastors at Round Prairie Baptist Church. His family moved to Argentina in 1969, and he returned to the United Stated in 1978, settling in the Springfield area. He worked the past few years for Federal Protection.

Survivors include one daughter, Ginny; his parents; and one sister, Ruth BRYANT.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Rebekah.
