Roger Lee ANDERSON, 55, of Brighton, died Thursday evening, April 13, 2006, at the ANDERSON farm.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home.

Roger Lee ANDERSON, 55, of rural Brighton, died in an accident Thursday, April 13, 2006 at his farm in Brighton.

A service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Salina Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Clarence Anderson, Charles Fladung and Robert Wolf officiating. Burial will follow in Salina Cemetary.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials to Salina Presbyterian Church, Brighton First Responders or Brighton Parks may be sent to 1351 Germanville Road, Brighton 52540.

Mr. ANDERSON was born June 7, 1950, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Merlyn D. and Emma Kay Smith ANDERSON.

Mr. ANDERSON lived all his life in Walnut Township. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1969. He was a self-taught farmer and mechanic.

Mr. ANDERSON was a member of Salina Presbyterian Church and Farm Bureau.

Survivors include three brothers, Roy ANDERSON of Brighton; Richard ANDERSON of Storm Lake and Robert ANDERSON of Brighton; three sisters, Elaine ANDERSON of Des Moine, Phyllis HIRD of Brighton and Kathleen ANDERSON of Brighton.

Mr. ANDERSON was preceded in death by his parents.
