Little Son Of J. SANDELL Died This Mornin

Richard Henry SANDELL, little son of Mr. and Mrs. J. SANDELL of Packwood, died this morning at 1:30 o'clock at the Jefferson County Hospital after a few days' illness. The funeral will be held tomorrow at Salina, definite arrangements for the funeral not being completed at this time.

This little son was one of the unusually small twins which were born at the hospital here last March, the 29th., the little sister having passed away the day of birth. The sorrowing parents and one sister survive.

Richard Henry, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Jelmer SANDELL was born March 29, 1923 and passed away December 1, 1923 at the Jefferson County hospital at the age of eight months and two days. He leaves to mourn his death his fond parents and a loving sister, Norma, age seven years.

His baby smile won the love of many relatives and friends who sadly mourn his untimely death.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Lottie SANDELL of near Salina and conducted by Rev. T. F. Campbell. The pallbearers were Ralph Schillerstrom,d (sic) Donald McClean, Harlan James and Ralph McClean. The singers were Miss Mary and Frances Schillerstrom, Miss Verda and Beatrice Baker. The little body was laid to rest beside his twin sister in the Salina cemetery.
