TIL E. JOHNSON, 83, veteran Fairfield druggist, died Thurs. p.m. at Jefferson Co. Hospital. Residence, 705 S. Main St.. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Born Mar. 31, 1882, near Four Corners, son of John and Emma LEAFGREEN JOHNSON; moved to Fairfield in 1900. For a time was employed at the Israel and Thoma Drug Store on the south side of the square.... After receiving pharmacy degree, he joined the late Frank Shriner in the Shriner & JOHNSON Drug Store at the northwest corner of the square. The firm name was changed to JOHNSON & Peasley in 1951 when Henry Peasley purchased an interest in the store.

Survived by wife, the former Esther "Do" LAMSON, one brother, Forest JOHNSON, Hemet, Calif.; and one sister Mrs. Myrtle ALLEN, Kansas City, Mo..
