Maria Fredereka (LILLYBLADE) ANDERSON died last night about midnight at the home of her daughter Mrs. Alex MONSON on S. Main St.. Seven living children.

Born in Sweden Apr. 9, 1829, and with her sister came to America in 1851, making her home in Wisconsin until she came to Fairfield in 1852. In 1854 she married John P. ANDERSON and went to housekeeping on a farm two miles northeast of Salina. Here they lived until 1890 when they moved into Salina, where Mr. A. died Feb. 8, 1906.

Nine children, two dying in infancy. Living are: Henry, Albert and Mrs Jerry BATES of Salina; John E. of Corning; Mrs. Alex MONSON; Mrs. Anton GUSTAFSON, and Mrs. Fred HAMLIN of Fairfield. Faithful member Swedish Lutheran Church....

SALINA.... Besides her seven living children, Mrs. ANDERSON left one brother, 23 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Of the brothers and sisters who came to America, only one, Oscar LILLYBLADE of Lockridge, is still living.
