Esther M. Rangner, 83, resident of Jefferson County, died Sun. in Des Moines. Burial will be in the New Sweden Methodist Cemetery west of Four Corners. Had made her home in Polk County for the past 50 years, and the past four years at Wesley Acres, a Methodist home in Des Moines. Born Feb. 2 1881 near Four Corners, daughter of Gustaf A. and Helena Anderson RANGNER. Reared in that community and educated in the Fairfield schools. Graduated from the Methodist School of Nursing in Des Moines. Served as a nurse for a number of years and was a member of the First Methodist Church in Des Moines. Survived by a number of nephews, nieces and cousins. Preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
